This Spirit knows the secrets of the best fishing spots
up the creeks of St. Catherine's Island.
He takes his 'lucky' fishing pole,
handmade from bamboo.
He has hopes for an evening meal of
red drum or trout.
No doubt the Creek Indians in their day
would have feasted on the same.
Perhaps Button Gwinnett enjoyed sharing his catch
with guests in his home on St. Catherine's.
This Spirit will share his bounty too.
